These are the cornerstone of our information-sharing, planning and decision making for our community. Our Meeting’s clerks develop the agenda and preside over the meetings that review and come to decisions regarding FMW policy statements, program initiatives and FMW’s budget. New memberships and committee assignments are also reviewed and approved in the Meeting for Business. FMW Committees and Taskforces report on their work. Decisions are made through a careful process of sharing of perspectives, listening, testing for agreement, arriving at a “sense of the Meeting” - a final agreement that enjoys broad support, with perhaps some members stepping aside to allow the plan to move forward. Meeting for Worship with Concern for Business is held on the second Sunday of each month.
