All are welcome at this Meeting for Healing. We will be invited to name the concern(s) that bring us to this worship, and then hold one another in the Light.

Committee meeting of Child Safety Committee

During this especially busy and sometimes stressful season, we are gathering at a meeting for Worship with a Concern for Healing, which will occur on Saturday, December 22 in the Parlor at 10:30 a.m.

Discussion group based on the book "Buddha's Brain" meets every third Sunday from noon to 1:00 in the Decatur Place Room.

Monthly meeting of Religious Education Committee, held first Sunday from noon to 1:30 in the Parlor.

Come and learn about the Religious Society of Friends, our history and our spiritual “ways”. Perhaps attending this class will help you understand your spiritual path? Attendance at every class is not mandatory. The group will meet in the Parlor from September 17 at 7:00 pm. to (and including) Monday, October 15, 2012. On Saturday October 2, 2010 join Friends for a work day. All levels of expereince are needed and there are a wide variety of tasks  that need to be completed. If you can only spare a hour or two, please come and join in the work day. Lunch will be availalbe. This is a great way to meet Friends and help maintain the Meeting Property. For further questions, talk to the members of the Property Committee or call the FMW Office. 

Please come participate in an "Experiential Introduction to Restorative Circles" on Sunday, September 19th from 12:15 to 1 p.m. in the Parlor Room, sponsored by the Religious Education Committee.

1:00 p.m. - Interfaith Group– Friends disturbed by the dramatic increase of Islamophobia (and worse) in the land are invited to consider joining the Interfaith Group (D.C. Interfaith Peace Initiative - DCIPI) in our monthly meeting this Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Parlor.  The group is planning their next major project.
