Child Safety Committee

The Child Safety Committee was created in November 2006 to help insure child safety for FMW sponsored activities. The Child Safety Committee is concerned with physical arrangements and Meeting rules for the safe and appropriate care and oversight of children and teens when at Friends Meeting of Washington or while involved in an activity under the sponsorship of the Meeting.In particular it is responsible for implementing and updating the Child Safety Policy. It vets all prospective staff members/attenders who would like to participate in FMW-sponsored children's activities.
