Saturday & Sunday: 25^th Annual Shoebox Project, 9 am to 2 pm both days. On Saturday, we need about 30 volunteers to unload the inventory, construct the shoeboxes, and fold t-shirts and socks. On Sunday, we need everyone to stuff the boxes with supplies for the homeless, wrap them, and help deliver them to local shelters. Today: The Meeting for Worship normally held in the Terrace Room will be meeting (just) today in the Parlor, as the Terrace Room is being used for child care for the Shoebox Project.

December 15 – 17: Young Adult Friends Conference, Sandy Spring Friends Meeting (Sandy Spring, MD)  To register, go to the YAF Event Registration page.

Dec. 17: Meeting for Business is scheduled for this date, to accommodate the Shoebox Project on December 10.

Dec. 24: Come to the FMW Christmas Eve Potluck, Sing-along and Worship. Doors open at 5:00. Please bring enough to share for 10 or more people. All are welcome. For more information, call the office at 202.483.3310 or email admin@quakersdc.org

Dec. 25: The FMW office will be closed. Also, there will be a Meeting for Worship at noon. All are welcome.
