Sunday February 27 – at 4 p.m. FCNL and FMW are co-hosting Building Bridges of Understanding: Conversation with the Imam. A “conversation” with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf will be held in the Meeting Room. The Imam is the leader of the Cordova Initiative, a multi-national, multi-faith organization dedicated to improving understanding and building trust among people of all cultures and faith traditions. This past summer the Cordova Initiative proposed an Islamic Cultural Center in downtown Manhattan, and there has been much controversy over the building of this Center. Everyone is invited to have a dialogue with the Imam.
