Oct. 28:  Outreach with African Immigrant Populations about Immigration Laws, 9:00 am to 1 pm  Join members of the Metropolitan AME Church, Friends Meeting of Washington and other Quaker Meetings and DC based Quaker organizations as we endeavor to develop a framework for outreach, engagement, resource sharing, and knowledge building with African Immigrant populations impacted by TPS and other immigration laws.  Questions? Oct. 29:  At 9:15, the Committee of Clerks will meet. Then, after Meeting in the Assembly Room, we will hold our Annual Committee Fair.  Members and attenders will have the opportunity to learn more about FMW committee participation while enjoying refreshments.  

   Also, Helen Hebben, a board member from Bolivia Quaker Education Fund (a wonderful organization that provides scholarships to young Quaker students in Bolivia, all of whom are quite poor and most of whom are indigenous Aymara students) will discuss the work of Friends in that country.

November 2 – 3FCNL Quaker Public Policy Institute and Lobby Day, Washington Court Hotel (Washington, DC)  First-time attendees as well returning Friends can register at a reduced cost from $50-$125, with most meals included.
