Tool Sharing, Building a New Future: A workshop on personal, ecological and
economic transformation
Saturday, December 4, 2010
Friends Meeting of Washington
2111 Florida Ave. NW
Washington, DC 20008

2-7 pm

This full afternoon of theater, community discussion, information sharing,
fellowship and food will kick off with a presentation of Leaps and Bounds, a
one-woman show traveling the country and drawing great acclaim. Leaps and
Bounds inspires faith communities to examine the mandates of faithful living
in relation to our current economic and ecological crises. The performance
will set the tone for conversation and personal reflection on practical
solutions. Representatives from local actions groups will help us get ³hands
on² with the work of building a sustainable future and provide valuable
resources for continuing engagement. Finally, we will share a healthy,
earth-conscious meal while learning about local food initiatives in DC.
The event goes from 2 pm to 7 pm (the optional meal begins at 6 pm). The
cost of participation is $20. Early registration is encouraged, as meal
tickets are limited.
Admission $20; for tickets or questions contact Gerri Williams,
