THIS IS THE REAL THING & I’M QUITE GLAD IT’S BEING DONE Sounds Celebrating Resistance
Tom has been at the for-front in helping communities organize against corporate take over of local water supplies, mountain top removal, nuclear energy, incinerators, and coal company dumping of toxic waste on farmland. An anti-war and civil rights activist since the 60s, he has played for single payer, started his SEIU local 509 at his workplace, and is music director for Jobs With Justice in Western MA. Seven of his songs have been used in documentaries, as he tells the stories of people’s struggles against greed and violence, interjecting a good deal of levity along the way.
