Afghanistan webinar by Solidarity 2020 & Beyond, Thursday, October 14, 11:00 am
FMW’s Peace & Social Concerns encourages members of the FMW community to attend this webinar. All those who register can attend live or listen to the recording. Register here. This webinar is also a fundraiser and all funds raised will be sent directly to women, youth and marginalized groups in Afghanistan. (But no one turned away for lack of funds.)

Memorial Service for Mirabel Telfair-Cha, Friday October 15 (zoom and in-person) Doors open 1:30 pm, Program begins, 2:00 pm. Friends with a direct personal connection to Mirabel and her family are invited to attend the memorial in person. To help ensure the safety of all attenders, particularly unvaccinated children, we encourage all other Friends to join by Zoom. Registration and Zoom join information will follow. Also, please know that there will be many opportunities to support the family in the coming months. Friends General Conference welcomes all Friends of Color, 18 years and older, to sign up for the 2021 Fall Adult Friends of Color Virtual Retreat, which will be held via Zoom from Friday, November 5 to Sunday, November 7, 2021.
