Cookie Baking for Grate Patrol
Junior Young Friends (5th-8th grades) and Young Friends (9th-12th grades) bake cookies once a month to add a treat to the meals that our Hunger and Homelessness Task Force delivers as part of the city Grate Patrol.

Early shift, 9:30-11:30:
Purchase supplies ahead of time (list available, and you can request reimbursement)
Arrive at Meeting and set out coffee for arriving worshippers
Start baking! Mix individual batches to ensure consistency, 12 batches in all.
Late shift, 11:30-1:15:
Arrive in the kitchen at 11:30 to relieve the first shift
Keep baking!
When cookies are cool enough, start bagging. 2 cookies per bag, 150 bags.
Clean up the kitchen and assembly room and put the cookies in the fridge.
Grate Patrol will hand out the cookies with meals on Wednesday
